I have listened and watched the U Tube video so many times and it makes me cry every time.  I told my son that I wanted to pick the song and have it be a surprise for everyone.  He’s not sure what to think….I believe that it will not only put tears in my eyes, make Jacob cry and all of the guests (including Justine). 

  As a single parent all of Jacob’s life, the song really expresses my thoughts and feelings…….Wishing him Friendship, Love and Happiness throughout his whole life.  At the same time to let him know that I am still here (always) whenever he needs me because……I am still his Mother.

I did purchase this for my son's wedding day and I held onto it until two days prior. I told  him I wanted to pick the song for us to dance to. He did let me.

Well, I've just ordered "I'll Always Be Your Mother", after crying every time I played it.  Can't wait to get the CD!! I have spent days and days trying to find a perfect song and this is it!!  I think I'll keep it as a surprise from my son Matthew who is getting married in June. It definitely says everything I will want to tell him that day, but probably won't be able to. My son got married yesterday, and I literally spent hours searching for just the right song to dance with him to at his reception.  I wanted to let him know how very special he is to me and how much I love him and my new daughter-in-law.  There are so many songs out there for the bride and her father, but nothing for the groom and his mother that really touches the heart.  I woke up one Saturday morning a few weeks ago; the day the music needed to be turned into the DJ, and thought I'd give it one more try.  I went onto the internet and the first thing that popped onto my screen was your song.  I don't know how I missed it all the other times I was searching.  I knew right at that moment that I'd found my song - many tears have been shed since then - it was a great hit at the reception.

  I looked for 3 months for a song for my son not until today did I find yours. It felt right; most were just everyday songs like “You Light Up My Life” etc... I would rather have written one about what a little monster he was as a teen. lol. Hurry up and write more. lol. My son is 32 he is the one marrying in Sept. 

 

 

      

  I've been searching for a song to dance with my son next year at his wedding. When I came across this...I was speechless. The words are perfect...and what a wonderful tribute from a Mom to her Son as she hands him off to the next woman in his Life.
